Besides my love for food, travel and animals, I have a not so secret love for fashion. Last night I attended Honda and Attitude Magazine's annual fashion show "A night of fashion" held at the Art Gallery.
The exquisite art and architecture was the perfect backdrop for Australian designers to showcase their latest Spring/Summer collection. Pride and Finesse models strutted down the runway in garments by Toni Maticevski, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore, Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Alice McCall, Collette Dinnigan, Suzy O'Rourke, and Akira. Paired with each look, the hair and makeup team created sleek, low ponytails and minimal makeup with the classic red lip to complete each ensemble.

This year emerging artists and designers had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and work through 'The Blank Canvas'. Each designer created elegance and a statement through different shapes and textures. Congratulations to Belinda Zanello for the winning design!
Fashion aside the night is never complete without a cocktail in one hand and nibbles in the other. Thanks to Zhivago's 'The Pink Lady Z', and Cibo's coffee and selection of savory and sweets for complementing the night's atmosphere with their delights.
Model off duty:
The face of this year's 'A Night of Fashion at the Art Gallery' Tori Trigg and her Aunt

What I loved from the night?
Sitting with my fellow fashionista friends and watching garments captivate every member of the audience.

What I miss from last year's show?
Paolo Sebastian's magnificent gowns making a grand appearance on the runway.
But all in all a wonderful night and one I'm glad I didn't miss.
