Just last weekend I attended one of the most anticipated events of the month. For those who don't know I am study Veterinary Science (hence my love for animals) and annually our school glams up for a night of fun. In our studies and future career we tend to become friends with what mother nature has installed for us, so this night was an opportunity for us ladies to slip into our gowns/dresses and for the gents to suit up! I wore a simple black dress, which was backless with a gold sequin back drape, and completed my look with black heels and gold jewellery.
The night was held at the racecourse, where they served their simple yet fine dishes. After a few rounds of drinks, speeches and a belly full of food we were were all on the dance-floor (even the school's academics joined in and grooved along to the tunes!). Each year the party gets better and better (or maybe thats the alcohol working its magic on us all ;) and can't wait for next year's glitz and glamour!
